Local decisions matter: what can we do here in Guelph in the next elections?

We are concerned for the quality of our public services, and would like to act accordingly. We have made some research, and have found out that some candidates do care on defending the quality of our education.

    Location: University Centre. Room 429. University of Guelph

  • Open issue(s):
    1. Preparation of public forum to inform Guelph citizens on the choices we can make on the municipal elections:
      1. Consideration of the “We Are Guelph” platform
      2. Invitation to candidates running for school trustees, city councillors and mayor
      3. Selection of location and date
      4. Advertising it
    2. Workers at the Nippon Sheet Glass factory have entered in strike
      1. Brief analysis of the situation
      2. Ways to support them
  • New business
  • Next meeting

In the meantime, let’s check the platform of We Are Guelph, what do they stand for, and to learn which Guelph candidates are endorsing and promoting the quality of social services
